The Tube Assembly

Here is the final tube assembly. The tube is aluminum 15" diameter built by Parallax Instruments. It was painted by

Custom Finishing in Phoenix with a black splatter paint which matches the original Celestron color. All hardware

used throughout is either stainless steel or aluminum. The cap on the end is 1/16" thick aluminum which

was machined from a solid blank 1" x 10". The hinges for the access door also are billet aluminum.
